More Black Mountain Republic

Went to The Republic at Black Mountain. Trevor did Forms, I repeated it. We hiked up and Tried Twilight of the Idols V10 . It is amazing. Beautiful, Ascthetic setting. Trevor and I worked on the Zenolyth Project.

Black Mountain... The Fireman's Hat

Joe Morgan took me down to a sick cluster of boulders he is calling the Fireman's Hat. He got 2 FA's. I followed behind him with the second. A cool powerfull problem on good patina that we think is about V7 called Buttermilk Triangle. We also did a chossy V4ish cool roof he called Bats-tah Cave. On the same block we started a sick project Joe is calling the Bat out of Hell project. Here are some photos of it. It could be real hard.

Black Mountain.... The Republic

Went to the Republic (when it wasn't snowing) and got to climb a bit. These boulders lying in the middle of a dense forest look a lot like Squamish photots Ive seen. Sick setting. Was a little hot at mid day and got better when the sun was hidding. A-Ron and this guy Mike Wickwire, both sent Forms V9. Joe and I both got close but no sucsess. I ended up doing it on Tuesday. Me and Mike hiked up to Twilight of Idols V10... supposedly one of the best in the country and I think it might be. Its hard. We got lost in the dark trying to find our way back down the mountain.

I went to Black a few times this week and here are some pics. I did the stand to Tour de France I almost did Transmaniacon. Blew my tip on Buzzsaw
